• SIMaD as an extension on ArcMap: ArcMap V9.2 or higher (ArcView edition)
• SIMaD as an extension on OrbitGIS:  OrbitGIS V4.3 or higher

• PostgreSQL V8.3 or higher
• SQL Server 2000, 2005 or 2008
• Oracle 11G

Central database for polygon saving (not for the OrbitGIS extension) [optional]
